That means we meet you where you are right now, and help you to shine. Whether you are a performer at the start of you Motion Capture career, or a seasoned veteran. Whether you are a production looking to fill some gaps in your roster or a Video Game company looking to run a Motion Capture shot.

Performer Training

We provide Actors with Motion Capture training focusing on how they can bring action to their already formidable performance skills.

On the flip side, we also provide training aimed at supporting Stunt and SPACT performers to bring character to their performances.

The idea being to help these performers to create a set of skills that Motion Capture Productions need, ie. one performer who can act, fight and fall.

Production Services

MoCap4 offers production support services to Film and Motion Capture productions - helping bridge gaps in capabilities. Whether you need full production, or pre-viz, of stunt coordination, BTS or even direction. We have the skills and contacts to support you.

The evolution is already here...are you ready?

MoCap4 is the next evolution in Motion Capture Training - we wont train you to be a Motion Capture Performer, or a monster or a hero; because that's now what's needed any more.

Instead we recognise that the industry is now demanding more than 'cardboard cutout / rinse and repeat' characterisations.

In fact, we know that productions want performers who can do it all....that is, be the character, delivery the action and provide the voice.

Imagine if you could offer productions twice the performer you are right now?

Imagine being an actor who can do action, or a stunt performer who can act! What production wouldn't want that!!

At MoCap 4 we focus on supporting

Actors: Who need to build the action skills that productions want - be it taking a hit, falling, rolling, throwing a punch, jumping, tactical movement, or complex fights sequences
Stunt Performers and SPACTs: Who need to create the characters that producers need on their shoot - which means emotions, physical movement, delivery of lines, facial expression and full characterisation.

You may wonder how we saw the evolution, or how we know what productions want?

The simple answer is that we were there when it happened. MoCap4 is run by industry performers; that is, people who have worked in the Volume, chased the jobs, spoken to the producers, missed out on roles and worked in production. As such, we'd like to think we know a little of what we talk about.

Making the network work

We believe in the power of the Network, and we want to bring ours to you.

Every single one of our workshops will be attended by an industry veteran from our network, who will run one or two segments of the day and be available for a Q&A session; it could be a producer, or a casting director, or a director...you'll have to check out the Workshop pages to find out who's coming.

But we're not stopping there!

The workshop guides are industry veterans AND so are the people behind the tech. Yes - each of our workshops will have the tech component run by production studios! Which means that your performances will be watched by the people who create the work!

Are we dont yet? No!

Our workshops will also be run in a Motion Capture volume — meaning you'll be working in a studio built and operated by an organisation that runs professional motion capture shoots as part of their business. How cool is that!B

Ok, so there's a nuance required here - It's worth noting that running workshops in major production studios does come at a premium cost, which isn't right for every attendee. All of our workshops will be delivered in a Motion Capture volume, led by industry veterans, and attended by industry professionals. On occasion, we may work outside the larger studio volumes, which allows us to offer workshops at a lower price point.
